Alfie is the sweetest little Poodle X you could ever met and it was love at first site when I first met him.

He is gentle, obedient and so very loving. He is also a wonderful companion to a lovely retired lady. Alfie is another gentle wonder who has opened the hearts of many who know him.

 Oyster
This handsome boy has quite the personality. Oyster loves to play and has even been known to climb walls!

He doesn't give his love out easy but when he begins he is very affectionate and loving. His love of life, spirit and adventure is endless.

 Mike
Mike is one of the sweetest best behaved dogs we have looked after. Mike is a six-year old husky/collie mix who was given up for adoption though Mature Dog Adoptions in Kingston.

Mike deserves a special note due to his wonderful disposition, trainability and his versatility regardless of his past.

Brandy and Kayla
Kaylas' story is so heart warming it is one that we love to tell again and again. The 3-year-old dogs' story started when her future owner was watching a local news story on puppy mills. As she watched the images of dogs being forced to live in inhumane conditions she knew she had to do something. One dog in particular touched her heart - Kayla.

The next day she went to the Kingston Humane Society to inquire about how to adopt Kayla. Unfortunately due to legalities she was unable to adopt Kayla right away but after a few weeks of daily visits to the Humane Society she was finally given the good news - Kayla was available for adoption and due to her dedication the Humane Society was awarding Kayla to her.

That was the fall of 2001 and since that time Kayla has enjoyed living in her new home where she is given lots of love daily and even has a fearless protector and companion - a domestic short hair cat named Brandy!

 Grisou
Who ever said animals don't feel emotions has never met Grisou. Grisou is a 5-year-old tabby who cared for his owner until the very end. When his owner became terminally ill with cancer Grisou refused to leave her side.

In her final days Grisous' owner said the only joy she knew was having Grisou by her side to comfort her.

Grisou is now happily living in the Kingston area with his owners' daughter.

 Jinx
Jinx is a 3-year-old grey domestic short hair cat that is one of the most resilient and comical cats we have seen. Rescued from the Ottawa Humane Society, Jinx wasted no time adapting to her new home. When her new owners arrived home with her Jinx jumped right out of the cat carrier and started frolicking about the house like she had lived there for years.

Happy with the smooth adjustment Jinxs' owner decided to fix a peanut butter and jam sandwich for lunch. When her owner sat down to eat his lunch Jinx ran into the room, jumped on his lap, meowed at him, took a huge bite of the peanut butter and jam sandwich in her owners hand and ran away!
